Sign up and Checkout Flow Redesign

About This Project

Parkhound
Marketplace web app for parking spaces in Australia
(Freelance project through Toptal)

GOAL
Enhance the signup and checkout flows

ROLE
Lead Product Designer

APPROACH
This was a quick 3 day engagement where I redesigned the account sign up and checkout flows for a marketplace app start-up. They had a clunky sign up that needed to be streamlined and not use the same flow for both the buyer and seller, so I designed 2 concepts to be explored. The checkout was streamlined to go onto one page to be quicker and easier to use. I designed the various states of checkout including validations and modal details for specific fields, and did both desktop and mobile views for responsive design. I followed their brand colours and font styles but also did some facelifts on the UI to be more up to date.
